What to Expect

Step 1

Your prescription is submitted to Accord Specialty Pharmacy by your provider. A benefits investigation is initiated to determine if your insurance will cover the medication. If a prior authorization is required by your insurance company, we can assist your provider with the prior authorization process, which typically can take 3-5 business days.

Step 2

A pharmacist will review the prescription and resolve any questions/concerns through contact with your provider or with you.

Step 3

We will contact you to discuss any associated cost and payment. We will review financial assistance opportunities to lower medication prescription costs as needed. We will discuss shipment/delivery convenient for you. We will answer any questions/concerns you may have.

Step 4

Once we have scheduled your shipment, please review our Patient Handout. The Patient Handout provides important information you need such as Privacy Practices, Patient Bill of Rights, and other relevant information.

Step 5

Your delivery arrives at your designated delivery site. We are available for on-going support and education throughout your treatment process.
